Welcome to Captured By Kyrah Photography!
I am a proud Waikato Tainui & Nga Puhi Woman on my Maori side, a Wadjanbarra Yidinji Woman from the Tablelands of FNQ and Thursday Island on the Torres Strait Islands, living in Garramilla, Darwin on Larrakia Country. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember! Being able to meet all your lovely faces and capture priceless images of you and your loved ones truly makes me smile! I have extensive experience and an interest in media, film and photography!
What I Do…
My role with Saltbush is a way to give back to my community and help mob achieve. As a mentor, I assist Indigenous Job Seekers find and sustain employment while also coaching them through their professional and personal pathways. I have met some amazing people through this area of my career and have walked along the side of many different journeys and success stories.
Aside from mentoring, I also work part time with ABC Radio Darwin as a radio producer & announcer for Territory Grandstand & NTFL Broadcasts

Within the first 9 months of business Captured By Kyrah has:
-Captured priceless lifestyle and family portraits, child and family events & large scale national events!
-CBK was named as a semi finalist in the NT Young Achiever Awards in the Small Business Achievement sector.
-Model Workshop collaboration with Bamalang MP.
-Hosted a stall at the Top End Youth Conference 2025 and captured images oof the event!
